Living Legends 6

May 24th, 2013 by Doyle

I apologize for the lack of updates in the past few months, I have not been playing as much since Chicago PSP event in 2012. I’ve been focusing on my Real Estate career, selling homes in Minnesota. http://www.doylerealestateteam.com

I did however play Living Legends 6 at CPX Sports this past weekend which was a blast. The event featured more vendors then an NPPL event! There were over 1,800 players participating in this multi-day scenario game. Industry leaders and pro players were mixed in on both sides of the field, giving average players a chance to play along side and against them.

No matter what your experience level is, I highly recommend this event. It is definately in my top 5 favorite paintball venues of all time

Here is some footage I took with GoPro Hero 3 attached to my barrel;

Another highlight of Living Legends is always the final battle in which the object is to control the ‘slap sticks’ at the top of a hill between two of their main courses, City of Bedlam & Armaggedon. When there is nearly 1,000 people on either side all shooting over a hill, things can get pretty crazy. Here is the footage I took while sitting halfway up the hill on the Bedlam side

Our team is hoping to play the Chicago PSP event in pump division, and I’d like to get out to Canadian Carnage as well as some UWL events this year.

I will start posting more barrel cam / helm cam videos, as well as aerial footage from my hexa-copter that I use for Real Estate Photography

Updated PSP Rankings

August 19th, 2012 by Doyle

Zero decided not to make the trip out to MAO since there was not much interest in the event, only 3 teams registered for pump division but they did get a pick up team together at the last minute.

Here is a link to the updated rankings:

http://www.paintball-players.org/scores/L1/seasonrankings2012.html

That puts us in 7th out of 22 teams, last year we finished 2nd in the NPPL

No MN teams were in attendance at this event, it is unlikely that Zero will play World Cup although another Vegas trip may be in order.

The weather & venue for this event were great, it was very well run.

Our team continued to struggle, and was unable to make it out of prelims. We’re still in the running and could make a recovery for the series but it doesn’t sound like we’ll be playing MAO, nor do I anticipate us playing WC. The competition in pump division is very tough and we’ve had a hard time against larger organizations due to limited size. I was disappointed that more of our team couldn’t make it out for this event considering how close it is. This is always the event that everyone says they can make, and want to go to but we barely were able to get a full 5.

None the less it was still a great event, its was nice to see everyone again. The pump community is amazing, and we had some great matches
